Eagle, Idaho, May 6, 2009 – Woodriver Cellars (www.woodrivercellars.com) officially announced today that it has engaged Z Group PR to handle its Public Relations and media outreach. Dave Buich, owner of Woodriver Cellars, and Steve Zunich, his childhood friend and basketball, football and baseball teammate since the two met in third grade, have chosen to work together again in promoting the exciting news coming out of Idaho’s finest winery. The two friends have stayed in touch through the years and are both looking forward to collaborating once again on this exciting new venture. 

“I am really pleased to be working with Steve, my very close friend dating all the way back to third grade,” Buich began. “Steve came up last month to check things out and I immediately felt very comfortable working with him. For years our Woodriver Vineyard has produced the best grapes in Idaho and now we are producing award winning wines from these harvests. We’ve done six or seven press releases in about three weeks time ranging from the Monthly Gallery program at the tasting room to the news of two wine contests at which WRC won six awards to an announcement of the new Port style wine which is blowing everyone away to an engagement that happened at the winery last month! We have six news items set to go out in the early part of May, assuming that some other unplanned event doesn’t take place that we don’t even know about yet. We have never had a client that has had so much going on so early in our relationship. It is truly exciting and I would encourage everyone in Idaho or that plans to visit Idaho to learn more about this amazing winery and its outstanding wines.
