UNIQUE, EDGY ARTISTS TO DISPLAY THEIR WORK AT
WOODRIVER CELLARS TASTING ROOM

Woodriver Cellars Monthly Gallery Event Showcases New Artists’ Work Starting At First “Five O’clock Fridays” Tasting Room Event Each Month

Eagle, Idaho, April 30, 2009 – Woodriver Cellars (www.woodrivercellars.com) will be displaying works of art from three cutting edge Idaho artists starting tomorrow night at the WRC tasting room. Woodriver Cellars monthly gallery program features local artists each month, kicking off on the first Friday of the month at the winery’s very popular “Five O’clock Friday” tasting room dinner event. The artwork will be displayed for the entire month and will be replaced with works from different artists commencing the first Friday of the following month. Featured at Woodriver Cellars for the month of May are Idaho artists Joseph Cowman, Mike Shipman and Joe Rinn. Cowman, a self-taught artist from Maryland, creates completely unique worlds that evoke thought and intrigue and more than a little humor. Shipman, a photographer, showcases powerful and haunting images that move and astound everyone who views them. A sculptor who works in predominantly in stoneware, Joe Rinn’s creations will shock and awe. Woodriver Cellars is dedicated to the arts and the WRC monthly gallery reflects only a part of that dedication.

“We at Woodriver Cellars are very excited to bring three such talented artists to our venue,” Woodriver Cellars General Manager Kristin Dudley began. “The Monthly Gallery Event has become very popular with visitors to our tasting room. Many people plan their first Friday of the month to be with us and to view the latest work from the unique artists we bring in. Those that are only expecting to enjoy a meal and our wines at our regular Five O’clock Friday dinner are pleasantly surprised that we display original art here as well. Joseph Cowman, Mike Shipman and Joe Rinn are all amazing in their own unique way and we are very pleased that they are allowing us to display their work. I would encourage everyone that can to check out these amazing artists.”
