WOODRIVER CELLARS TO CELEBRATE “EMMETT NIGHT” FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH AT THEIR WINERY RIGHT OFF HIGHWAY 16
Emmett Chamber Members and City Council to Receive Special Invitations to “Emmett Night”
Eagle, Idaho, June 2, 2009 – Woodriver Cellars (www.woodrivercellars.com) will host a special Emmett Night at the winery Tasting Room Friday, June 12th from 6:00-10:00pm. A special dinner menu will be available and Emmett musicians “Bill Monti & Friends” will provide the musical entertainment for the evening from 6:30-9:30pm. Woodriver Cellars staff has been working closely with the Emmett Chamber of Commerce, so a great turnout is expected for what should be a fun event. Woodriver Cellars will be serving dinner and visitors will be able to enjoy an evening of live music and relaxation as they take in the beautiful grounds at the winery, as well as play some Bocce Ball on the newly installed courts. In honor of Highway 16, Emmett residents will receive a 16% discount on bottles or cases of wine purchased that evening.
“The winery’s location between Emmett and Eagle make it a well-known landmark to Emmett residents,” Gem County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Wisti Rosenthal stated. “We really appreciate the fact that Woodriver Cellars has put forth the effort to honor us with our own special night. We are so close to the winery and so many of us drive by it every day that it will be nice for us to get officially connected with Woodriver Cellars. It’s a great local venue that offers entertainment and is a great place to meet. Woodriver Cellars is such a classy place and it is so beautiful. I know that our residents will go back again and again once they visit. We’re really excited about the special evening and I know everyone will have a great time, especially with our own Bill Monti & Friends playing music.”
“We’re very happy to welcome the town of Emmett to our winery,” Woodriver Cellars owner Dave Buich began. “We really appreciate the support of the Gem County Chamber of Commerce in helping us put this event together. Wisti and I go way back as friends to junior high school and she recently reminded me that in eighth grade she and I ran on the same student council ticket. I became class president and she became the ‘activities director’. It’s been very easy working with her and she and the entire Chamber deserve a lot of credit for helping us to get the word out. We can’t wait to meet the people of Emmett and we look forward to honoring Emmett and being a small part of the celebration of the Emmett Cherry Festival. We’ll see you all on Friday, the 12th. Come early and stick around after dinner to join me in some Bocce Ball.”
