Cowboy Junkies & Son Volt to Play On July 24th
COWBOY JUNKIES AND SON VOLT TO PLAY THIS FRIDAY, JULY 24TH AT WOODRIVER CELLARS WINERY IN EAGLE!
Eagle, Idaho, July 17, 2009 – Woodriver Cellars winery (www.woodrivercellars.com) will play host to an exciting concert scheduled for Friday, July 24th on the winery grounds out in Eagle, on Highway 16. Idaho Concerts presents popular recording artists Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt at Woodriver Cellars. Tickets for the show cost $29.00 in advance and are available through www.brownpapertickets.com, the Boise Co-op or Record Exchange. Sales are going extremely well and the event could very well sell out very soon. If available, tickets will sell for $32.00 at the door. The Woodriver Cellars appearance by Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt will be the only Idaho stop for these two outstanding bands.
Cowboy Junkies have been together since 1986 and have developed a vast, loyal following. With Michael Timmons on guitar, Peter Timmins on drums, Alan Anton on bass and Margo Timmins providing the husky voiced lead vocals, Cowboy Junkies provides an outstanding show for their old and new fans. Son Volt lead singer and guitarist Jay Farrar is joined by Andrew Duplantis on bass, Chris Masterson on lead guitar, Dave Bryson on drums and Mark Spencer on steel guitar and keyboards. The two bands together guarantee an outstanding evening of music for everyone in attendance at Woodriver Cellars.
