Entertainment Weekends at Woodriver are shock full of music, wine, great food and amazing shows. From major concerts to intimate shows in our tasting room, there is always something fun happening. Whether it is Mardi Gras, the Super Bowl or St. Patrick's Day, we're suckers for parties and use any excuse to celebrate. Come try some of our award winning wines and spend time celebrating with friends and family! Mother's Day Celebration, Sunday, May 12, Noon - 4 p.m. Celebrate your own mom, being a mom, and the fabulous moms you know by heading to the winery to spend a day in the sun. Live music by Yer Mama, activities for the kids, food & drink and more will keep the crew entertained while mom kicks back and enjoys her special day. Bocce Ball! 6 p.m., every Tuesday evening Now that the weather is warming up, bocce ball season is here! Come on out and learn how to play the game, or show off your already-honed skills. Either way, be prepared to kick back with a glass of wine, good people and a little friendly competition. Open play begins April 9th, and will go through the end of the month. This is the perfect time to practice and get your team together for league play, which begins in May. * Open play begins at 6 p.m. Bella Aquila Wine Dinner, Thuesday, May 23rd, 6 p.m. Join our winemaker, Neil Glancey, at Bella Aqila in Eagle for a six-course dinner, paired with Woodriver Cellars' wines. Local Artists We have a soft spot for local artists. Just like our wines are grown, picked, smashed and aged here in Idaho, these area artists have perfected their skills while living in the Gem State. But don't confuse the words local and amatuer. Some of these painters, sculptors and glass blowers have a national following for their craft. It just so happens they live down the road and across the street. We are constantly changing our galleries and most everything is for sale. Come check out some of the best art the Treasure Valley has to offer! |
Open Court Bocce Ball, Starting April 9th! Come on out to learn & play before league play begins on May 7th! We have fallen in love with Bocce Ball. Whether you are a seasoned professional or are hearing about it for the first time, you'll appreciate our sandy Bocce Ball courts. In this simple game, players take turns tossing softball sized ceramic balls across the court to see who can place their ball closest to the one small ball (called a pallino). If you can toss a ball, you can play. Our courts are available anytime our tasting room is open, and we have leagues during the summer if you like to play competitively.
